Jishoji is commonly known as “Temple of the Silver Pavilion (Ginkakuji)”, which is absolutely thought-provoking.
Remodeled in 1397. The splendid golden pavilion and its reflection on water is breath-taking.
The shrine is nationwide famous for its “love spiritual spot” and national important cultural asset “Nishiromon”.

Gozan no Okuribi
Gozan no Okuribi is held on 16th August every year in Kyoto as a summer classic. With spectacular Japanese characters and Torii gate in night mountain.
Held in MayAoimatsuri Festival
It is a festival of Shimogamo Shrine and Kamigamo Shrine that started about 1,500 years ago. The highlight is a parade with case in Heian costume walking about 8km.
